Our Temporary Treasure

While his human parents are away, I've been Chiz's legal guardian. 

Chiz is a Doberman Pinscher.  When I stroke him not so gently, he moves like he's on a skateboard.  When I bring down my feet and accidentally hit him, he acts like I had kicked him.  When my mom gave him the throwaway end of a banana, he ate three pellets less, even with hand-feeding.  His quota for the day is four scoops of pellets.  Because of his wound, he needs to take one ml of Cefalexin, which more than covers a scoop of pellets.

Yesterday, he tried to enter the bathroom with his neckband.  After I encouraged him, he managed to open two doors by himself.

When he barked at my brother-in-law, my niece told him to get back to his cage, which he did.  My brother-in-law wants to be his foster parent, too.
